ITCCA – Original Yang style
The original Yang style of Tai Chi Chuan is taught in the ITCCA (International Tai Chi Chuan Association). It is a system of exercises that develops and balances internal energy and contributes to a healthy body, an open heart, and a calm and clear mind. It can be practiced for health reasons, as meditation or as martial art.
The training itself consists of several aspects. Taoist exercises for health, Qigong and Meditation take an important place in the practice. The Tai Chi form is taught in three parts, step by step that are then steadily upgraded. It takes about two years to master the whole form. In advanced classes, internal forms are taught, exercises with a partner and a weapon form.
